Project: For SI 582: Interaction Design, we were asked to consider a community, research that community and competitor products, and come up with an interactive solution. The community I chose was unrelated adult housemates. I created the prototype to meet two needs of this group:

Encourage individuals to understand their own preferences and how their preferences differ from others in the household

Help housemates become aware of and address differences before they come an issue

Project: Over the course of two semesters, I worked on my identity package. In SI 520: Graphic Design, I designed skill-based mini-projects in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, practicing design best practices in color, typography and composition. In Design of Complex Websites, I culminated my design packaged by creating a sample accessible HTML website.

Role: Researcher
Team: Four researchers, Client
Project: Ran a semester long needs assessment and usability evaluation for a local school district with a team of four classmates. Conducted interviews, surveys, a heuristic analysis, card sort, and a usability study to produce reports and UX recommendations.

Project: By accessing the Tmdb database of movie information via APIs, I created an interface using Python and Flask where users can access famous movie quotes, look up the actor, and learn more about the movie.
